Join Stuart Woolf of Woolf Farming Company, for an early morning ride on a tomato harvester. View tomatoes in the field and follow them into the world-class tomato processing facility. Los Gatos Tomato Products processes over 10,000 tons of tomatoes daily. View first-hand the start to finish steps involved in large-scale tomato paste production. Following Stuart’s tour, guests will be treated to a delicious lunch in the Woolf Farming Cookhouse. Farm and facility are located one hour from Fresno, and require the ability to climb industrial stairs and catwalks unassisted.

Spend a fascinating morning in Kathy Wosika’s studio. Kathy was a famed art instructor at Fresno City College for 36 years, showing her works nationally and internationally. During this hands-on workshop discover how this ancient Chinese craft – over 2,000 years old – employs natural plant materials, fibrous pulp and color. This process encourages you to explore your unique creativity and personal design. Following your endeavors, share your individual discoveries and creations over lunch in your hosts’ beautiful, artistic home and garden.

Your hosts have taken the challenge – it’s a rib and slaw throwdown! You be the judge – which BBQ ribs and coleslaws are the best? While the amateur chefs show off their skills, join a docent led tour of the Fossil Discovery Center to learn about the mammals that ruled the Valley during the last ice age.
